Wallet & Security

Straight answers about where your money lives and who can touch it.

How your wallet works

When you press Start, we generate a dedicated trading wallet for you. Its private key is encrypted and stored on our infrastructure so the bot can sign your orders instantly โ€” that's what makes one-tap trading inside Telegram possible.

Two things keep this honest:

  1. You hold the master copy. Run /export anytime to reveal your private key. Import it into MetaMask (network: Arbitrum One) and you have full, independent control of the same wallet โ€” with or without us.
  2. Your funds sit on Hyperliquid, under your address. Balances and positions live on the Hyperliquid L1, publicly verifiable on-chain.

Let's be direct about the trust model: because we hold an encrypted copy of your key to execute your trades, using 247.trade means trusting our operational security โ€” the same way you trust any exchange. The difference is that here, that trust is checkable and revocable: your funds are visible on-chain at all times, and /export lets you take your key and walk away whenever you choose.

How we protect your key

What you must do

  1. Back up your key โ€” now, before depositing. Tap "Back up now" at signup or run /export. If you lose your Telegram account and haven't backed up, your funds cannot be recovered โ€” not even by us. That's not policy, it's cryptography.
  2. Never share your private key. 247.trade staff will NEVER ask for it. Anyone who does is scamming you.
  3. Lock your Telegram. Enable Two-Step Verification (Settings โ†’ Privacy and Security). Your Telegram account is your login.
  4. Delete the key message after saving it somewhere safe.
